John Hopkins
Director, Portfolio Manager, GID Industrial
John Hopkins serves as Director, Portfolio Manager for GID Industrial. Mr. Hopkins is responsible for the management and capital deployment for the firm’s value-add industrial investment vehicle.
Prior to joining GID, Mr. Hopkins served as Vice President at Link Logistics Real Estate where he was responsible for sourcing acquisition opportunities in the southwest United States. Prior to joining Link Logistics, John was a member of the industrial acquisition teams at Colony Capital, Inc. and Cobalt Capital Partners, where he helped acquire over 16 million square feet of industrial assets. Mr. Hopkins started his career in Ernst & Young’s assurance and audit services group in Dallas, TX.
Mr. Hopkins received a BBA in Accounting and a MS in Finance from Texas A&M University. John is also a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.
